The Tilda Curry Night at The Unicorn Freehouse in Cublington, Bucks, proved a great success; raising £565 for charity. The proceeds have been split between Learning for Life the chosen charity of Cyrus Todiwala, Proprietor and Executive Chef of the Café Spice Namasté restaurant group, and Big Shot Cricket.
We invited 50 villagers along, all to be fed from one bag of Tilda Easy Cook Basmati rice and each paying only £10 for their meal. The award-winning chef, Pankaj Kalko, cooked up a mouth-watering feast, using a combination of his own and Cyrus Todiwala’s recipes, with all proceeds going to these two worthy charities, dedicated to helping communities in South Asia.
