Cyrus Todiwala MBE DL and Pervin Todiwala, noted restaurateurs and owners of Cafe Spice Namaste, will be hosting a Charity Fundraising dinner on Wednesday 24th June, with support from Pritchitts, for the Time and Talents Association, of which Cyrus is President.
Time and Talents is a thriving community service, working in the heart of Rotherhithe. Founded in 1887, it serves the community in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey. Their services are user led: they work in the community to find out what peoples’ needs are and work to try to meet those needs. Their service crosses generations, builds community networks and breaks down isolation – it offers a sense of belonging to a community that is constantly changing. Time and Talents has a long track record of well-organised, wide-ranging work that is deeply embedded in the community.
On the night, Master Chef Cyrus will be working with 3 of the UK’s leading chefs: Colin Bussey of The Loch Fyne group, Andy Aston of Restaurant Associates and Simon Young of Jumeriah Carlton Tower who, along with students from Westminster Kingsway College, will provide diners with a drinks and canapé reception, followed by a three-course meal with fine wine.
